Old Found Mercantile is a brand new Thrift & Vintage store in Gastown that offers rentable rack space for local vintage sellers, as well as affordable thrift-by-the-pound, and low cost used books.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-sufficient Marketing Coordinator to join the team! This role is essential in supporting our marketing initiatives and driving brand awareness through various channels. The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of multi-stream campaign execution, including social media, print advertisement, and partnerships. This position is majority remote, however occasional visits to the store will be required.
Duties
- Develop and implement effective marketing campaigns across multiple platforms
- Utilize in-store sales trends and other analytics tools to track campaign performance and generate insights
- Create engaging graphics and social media content using Canva for various marketing materials
- Oversee our Instagram and TikTok accounts, monitoring performance metrics and adjusting strategies as needed
- Collaborate with ownership to align marketing efforts with sales objectives
- Maintain the company website using SquareSpace, ensuring content is accurate and up-to-date
- Assist in budgeting for marketing projects and track expenses to ensure adherence to financial guidelines
- Stay current with industry trends
Experience
- Recent experience in digital marketing or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, SquareSpace, and Canva is an asset
- Proven experience planning and executing successful campaigns strongly preferred
- Experience with email marketing platforms is a plus
- A passion for thrift and vintage is required!
