We are seeking a reliable maintenance worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform routine maintenance tasks, respond to repair requests and help ensure the property is safe, comfortable and well maintained for our guests and staff.
This position is a part-time, on-call position. It can be physically demanding work that includes using tools and equipment,frequent walking,climbing ladders, and lifting heavy items.
Key duties include:
- Reporting major repair needs to the General Manager
- Performing routine maintenance such as painting, replacing light fixtures, key card door lock systems, outdoor cleaning, drywall/caulking, snow removal etc.
- Performing minor repairs on plumbing, electrical, furniture, fixtures and other items in the motel
- Assisting in other areas of the motel as needed
Minimum Experience, Education, Skill & Physical Requirements:
- Must have a flexible schedule and be able to be on call.
- Must have basic knowledge of plumbing, painting, electrical, and/or other general repair skills
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance and up to 140 pounds with assistance
- Must be able to walk, stand, climb, kneel, reach, crawl, push, pull and twist the majority of the day
- Must display very good organization and time management skills
Starting Wages - $ 19.00 hourly.
Job start date – Immediately.
