What You’ll Do
As our Maintenance Mechanic, you’ll keep our shop running smoothly by:
- Fixing & Maintaining: Inspecting, repairing, and troubleshooting equipment, machinery, and facilities.
- Building & Installing: Assembling, aligning, and moving industrial equipment (pumps, fans, conveyors etc.).
- Problem-Solving: Tackling hydraulics, pneumatics, and programmable logic controls (PLCs) — experience here is an asset.
- Staying Proactive: Handling emergency repairs, routine maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- Mechanically inclined — you enjoy figuring out how things work and fixing them.
- Hands-on problem solver with positive energy.
- Strong communication skills (you’ll work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and team).
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and a good multitasker.
- Open to lean manufacturing and new ways of doing things.
- Willing to work flexible hours when needed.
- Experience in a CNC machine shop or aluminum foundry is a plus, but not required.
