POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The welcoming Le Fabourg Giffard residence is looking for a maintenance attendant. Reporting to the maintenance director, the maintenance attendant's tasks include completing renovations and ensuring cleanliness within the establishment. This may include, among other things, painting, plastering, ceramic tile installation, small carpentry jobs, changing lighting or faucets, various installations, etc. As part of their duties, they may be required to move furniture or lift heavy loads. Permanent position, 37.5 hours per week, daytime schedule (9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.). Weekends occasionally. Salary between $19.44 and $20.97/hour
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintenance of common areas
- all other related tasks
Construction
- Carry out the maintenance of the premises in accordance to a regular reocurring schedule or as required
- Make service calls
- Minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.)
- Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Professional training in general building maintenance (an asset)
- CPR training (asset)
