Job Summary
Are you a dedicated security professional with a strong presence and a passion for safety? We're looking for experienced Loss Prevention Officers (LPOs) to join our team and help protect our clients' people, property, and reputation.
As an LPO, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and customers. Representing our team in a professional uniform, you’ll combine vigilance with excellent customer service to prevent theft and promote safety across the premises.

What you will do
- Maintain a visible, professional presence at store entrances and throughout the premises
- Deter theft and unauthorized access through active observation and excellent customer service
- Conduct regular patrols to identify suspicious behavior or security risks
- Assist customers and staff with professionalism, courtesy, and discretion
- Enforce store policies to ensure a safe, secure, and orderly environment
- Work closely with store management and team members to address security concerns
- Respond quickly to incidents, alarms, or emergencies, escalating when necessary
- Document incidents, violations, and suspicious activity accurately and promptly
- Handle all situations with sound judgment, tact, and professionalism
- Promote a safe shopping experience while supporting loss prevention objectives
- Complete required documentation for security incidents such as theft and violations.
- Escalate situation to law enforcement as required.
- Respond to emergency situations appropriately in a timely manner.
Skills
- Valid Private Investigation Security License (required)
- Prior experience in customer service or loss prevention
- Professional appearance and impeccable grooming standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage with a wide range of individuals respectfully and confidently
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail
- Sound judgment and quick decision-making in dynamic situations
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Eagerness to participate in ongoing training and team meetings
- Physically fit and comfortable standing or patrolling for extended periods
