As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our team and play a key role in managing CBSA compliance and other logistics operations.
The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for managing the breakdown and processing of consolidated freight shipments, ensuring compliance with CBSA and international regulations, and coordinating end-to-end shipment logistics. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience working with freight documentation and customs processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform efficient breakdown of consolidated freight shipments; compile master bills of lading and separate into house bills of lading.
- Maintain accurate shipment files from opening to closing, including data entry, pre-alerting customers, billing, and issuing required documentation.
- Submit eManifest House Bills and ensure all data complies with CBSA and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Communicate proactively and clearly with overseas offices, customs brokers, domestic vendors, and customers regarding shipment status and documentation.
- Track shipments from origin to final destination and resolve issues related to delays, split shipments, or documentation errors.
- Issue arrival notices, coordinate customs clearance, and arrange final delivery based on customer instructions.
- Investigate rate discrepancies, monitor Accounts Receivable, and ensure timely billing and collections.
- Coordinate and monitor the logistics of transporting parts, materials, and cargo, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Process claims for damaged or lost cargo in collaboration with the operations supervisor.
- Support other departments when necessary to maintain workload balance across the logistics team.
- Oversee scheduling and execution of all inbound and outbound shipments, both domestic and international.
Qualifications:
Skill Factors:
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or customs compliance
- Excellent interpersonal skills for interaction with customers and prospective business.
- Accurate data entry skills.
- Ability to learn new processes quickly.
- Ability to fluently read, write, and speak English.
- Proficiency in IT systems, such as MS Office, Google Doc / Sheet and standard CRM
- Free comfortable to communicate with Chinese Mandarin.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour
