As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Litigation Lawyer to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a civil litigator with 5 plus years experience in areas of family law, civil litigation, real estate, and estate matters.
The ideal candidate is an experienced litigator who can run their own files. Mentorship from senior litigation lawyers will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in civil litigation matters in court and administrative hearings.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery and trial.
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients.
- Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements:
- Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in litigation.
