Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in meal preparation and cooking tasks, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and food is prepared to high standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces
- Help the cook with food plating and presentation
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Follow food safety standards and guidelines
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations
- Perform other duties as assigned by the chef or kitchen manager
Skills:
- Experience in a kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques
