Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team in the food industry. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will assist in the preparation and cooking of meals in a restaurant kitchen. Your role will involve food handling, meal preparation, and ensuring food safety.
Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, such as chopping vegetables and marinating meats
- Assist in the cooking and plating of meals according to recipes and portion sizes
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, including washing dishes and sanitizing equipment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service hours
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation to ensure freshness of ingredients
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Skills:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal presentation
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $21.00-$23.50 per hour
