Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, providing high-quality meals to our guests. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food handling.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is a must.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
