Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe cooking environment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or needs.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setup and breakdown of the kitchen at the beginning and end of shifts.
