Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking various dishes while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of the kitchen before and after service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages or needs to management.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance cooking skills and knowledge of the food industry.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Proficient in various cooking techniques and methods, including grilling, sautéing, baking, and frying.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Experience in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, fryers, and slicers.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic restaurant setting.

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
