Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment and a strong understanding of food handling and safety practices. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
- Ensure all food is handled safely and in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies are low.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, food safety, and sanitation practices.
- Strong culinary skills with the ability to prepare various types of cuisine.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
