We are looking to add a Light Deck Truck Operator
to our team within the Brad's Towing
division.
Brad’s Towing started in 2001 with only a 1996 F450 and Century wrecker. Since our humble beginnings, we have expanded to also provide services with deck trucks, tractor trailers, semi towing and recovery with a fleet of over 40 pieces of equipment. We also offer specialty services and equipment such as air cushions, winch skids, and animal transfers. We pride ourselves on our reputation for dependable and reliable service. Whether you're a first time customer in need of a boost or a company looking for help moving equipment - we get the job done right!
As a Light Deck Truck Operator, you will be:
- Driving and operating (on/offloading) equipment
- Responding to various calls, including basic tows, accidents and recoveries
- Providing services in a friendly, safe, professional, and timely manner
- Inspecting customer vehicles and any equipment prior to performing services for physical damage; taking pictures and completing vehicle inspection sheets as appropriate
- Ensuring proper utilization and maintenance of company equipment
- Conducting self in a polite and considerate manner in all interactions with customers, dispatchers, and others
- Communicating with dispatch via towing application to indicate status and availability
- Entering accurate charges and applying payments for services rendered via the towing application for invoicing purposes
- Completing required daily paperwork and documentation
The right person:
- Must hold and maintain a Saskatchewan Class 3A driver’s license; a minimum of two years’ experience would be an asset
- Has a clean driver's abstract
- Enjoys being a member of the team and communicates clearly and reliably with colleagues
- Can perform physical duties including lifting, bending, climbing, and kneeling
- Is committed to environmental compliance and safe work practices
- Has a friendly attitude with a strong focus on customer service
- Stays calm under pressure and can manage high-stress situations
- Can diffuse and resolve conflict in a professional manner
- Has a self-starter mindset and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
