We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team at Teranorth Construction & Engineering Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering materials and supplies to various job sites, ensuring timely and safe transportation while using a flat deck truck.
Anticipated hours are Monday to Thursday 7:00am to 5:00pm and Friday 7:00am to 3:00pm. Subject to change based on project needs and workload.
Responsibilities
- Transport materials and equipment to designated job sites safely and efficiently.
- Perform mandatory pre and post vehicle inspections and document through Sitedocs app.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members regarding delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork as per company policies
- Keep interior and exterior of truck clean
- Perform other related duties as required
- Follow all company and regulatory transportation policies
Requirements
- Valid G driver's license is required.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
