Position Summary
The Lifestyle Planning Consultant is a hybrid role combining relationship-based membership sales, member engagement planning, and administrative support. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys connecting with people, organizing details, and being part of a high-performing, member-focused team.
Note: This is not a commission-based sales role. We are looking for service-minded professionals, not high-pressure closers.
Key Responsibilities
Member Engagement & Lifestyle Planning
- Meet with new and existing members to understand their needs and recommend personalized lifestyle plans across fitness, tennis, swim, dining, and junior programs
- Conduct tours and onboarding sessions with new members
- Stay current on all club programming and assist with member registration or waitlists as needed
- Monitor member engagement levels and follow up proactively to encourage participation and renewals
Membership Sales (Non-Commission)
- Respond to inquiries from prospective members via phone, email, or walk-ins
- Guide prospects through the membership options and assist with sign-up and onboarding
- Represent the Club at events, open houses, and outreach campaigns
- Track new member leads, referrals, and conversion metrics for reporting purposes
Administrative Support
- Handle incoming phone calls and emails related to membership, renewals, and club programming
- Prepare and send renewal letters, follow-up emails, and onboarding documentation
- Maintain accurate records in the club CRM and ensure all member files are up to date
- Generate regular sales and engagement reports for management
- Assist with administrative tasks related to events, promotions, and seasonal campaigns
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in hospitality, recreation, wellness, customer service, or member services
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Warm, engaging interpersonal style with a genuine interest in helping others
- Comfortable with basic reporting, scheduling systems, and CRM platforms (e.g., Excel, Jonas, Mindbody, or similar)
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
