As the Learning & Development Coordinator, you'll be the supporting force behind the success of the Performance and Capability Team's projects. You will be responsible for coordinating a wide range of L&D activities, including managing our learning management system and yourtown’s LinkedIn Learning account. It offers an excellent opportunity for aspiring L&D professionals to join a supportive and dynamic team, helping to develop and refine their skills.
You will fine-tune the LMS system, conduct impactful reports, and seamlessly handle the administration of yourtown’s centralised training request process. You will work with all parts of the organisation to develop and maintain organisational training plans. You will actively participate in training projects and other exciting initiatives supporting the employee experience.

Your role will include:
- Managing our Learning Management System, including day-to-day management, system updates, system optimisation, system integration with other yourtown systems and system training.
- Co-ordinating learning and development programs delivered to the organisation and working with external providers managing our LinkedIn Learning account including managing licenses and liaising with LinkedIn Learning account manager and technical support.
- Providing expert technical advice to the Performance & Capability Manager and team members on the best structure of learning programs in the system.
- Updating and maintaining training records and data to support accurate training records and training compliance.
- Regularly reviewing the usability of the system to achieve optimal training program structures and reporting outcomes.
- Monitoring and triaging the Training helpdesk.
- Manage and co-ordinate organisational training plans for initial and ongoing training of yourtown staff.
what we are looking for
- 2 plus years’ experience within a learning & development environment.
- Has previous experience or a keen interest in delivering training.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and competency using Human Resource Information Systems or Learning Management Systems.
- Exhibits a clear understanding of customer centricity and principles of human-centered design, maintaining a mindset and practice of safety while understanding the mutuality of safety and role modeling.
- Proven interpersonal skills with experience engaging and influencing key stakeholders to achieve optimal business outcomes.
- Great attention to detail and organisation skills that can manage multiple priorities and the ability to take ownership of the role and drive improvement and changes to support the delivery of learning and development activities.
