Parallel is a Restaurant and Manufactory of Sesame butter (Tahini) located at the trendy Geary Avenue.
We are looking for a lead server to join our team! We are looking for someone who is energetic, personable and has experience serving in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements and skill sets:
JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years serving in a fast-paced environment
- Open availability including morning, lunch, and dinner, weekdays and weekends
- Required to stand for long periods of time
- Able to engage with guests and talk about Parallel's products
- Excellent communication skills
- Ensure food service and quality control
- Familiar with POS systems and payment terminals
- Maintain cleanliness of storefront, dining room, and patio
- Knowledge of food and bar beverages
- Experience with online reservation systems
- Able to serve in sections of up to 30-40 guests
