Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Lead Restoration Technician to join our team. As a Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for leading with the restoration and cleaning of various structures and materials. This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools to build, restore, and clean.
- As the crew lead on restoration projects, you will guide and lead our crew on following and completing restoration service protocols
Responsibilities:
- Perform restoration and cleaning tasks on structures damaged by fire, water, or other disasters
- To follow scope of work
- To follow restoration service protocols
- To ensure red files are completed at emergency jobs
- Use hand tools and power tools to remove debris, repair damage, and restore materials
- Clean and sanitize affected areas to ensure safety and prevent further damage
- Collaborate with team members to develop restoration plans and timelines
- Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Document work performed, including materials used and hours worked
- Ensure reporting is completed by 12:30pm and 3pm daily
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years experience in restoration preferred
- Experience in construction
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
