Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable, self-driven, and motivated Lead/Experienced Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our dynamic leadership team. This position offers an unique opportunity to combine clinical expertise with leadership, allowing you to make a significant impact on both patient care and operational efficiency within our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Support: Assist doctors during procedures and ensure smooth operations in the dental clinic. You will be hands-on in performing all CDA duties and ensuring patient comfort.
- Leadership & Team Support: Work closely with the clinic manager and multiple doctors, including the owner, to lead and mentor the CDA team. You will play a key role in training and supporting junior staff.
- Schedule Management: Oversee the CDA schedule to ensure appropriate coverage and efficient use of resources. You’ll work with the team to ensure all shifts and patient needs are met.
- Supply & Equipment Management: Take charge of ordering supplies and ensuring that all necessary materials are stocked. You will also arrange for service technicians when equipment needs maintenance or repair.
- Operational Efficiency: Collaborate with the clinic manager to streamline workflows, improve patient care, and ensure that all operations run smoothly.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) with at least 2 years of clinical experience.
- Familiar with digital systems including iTero, Invisalign
- Knowledge with Dentrix is preferred
- Cantonese and/or Mandarin speaking is required
- Leadership experience or the desire to take on a leadership role, with the ability to manage a team and provide mentorship.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, team members, and doctors.
- Self-motivated and adaptable with the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
