HappyTree Dental has an exciting opportunity for a full time (4 days/week Mon-Thurs) Dental Assistant/Administrative Coordinator to join our growing team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
This position will work closely with both our clinical and administrative teams. This is a pivotal and versatile role that provides clinical and administrative support with the opportunity to make a direct impact on practice efficiency and flow.
Key responsibilities include:
· Providing the highest quality customer service to our patients and ensuring an overall excellent customer experience for our patients
· Chairside assisting duties
· Reviewing and maintaining patient records
· Preparing treatment rooms
· Sterilization
· Taking digital scans/diagnostic photos/radiographs* (*dependent on certification)
· General administrative duties including answering phones, greeting patients, taking payments, scheduling appointments
· Assisting with insurance claims and billing
· Tracking patient benefit coverage
· Day end reports/closing
WHO YOU ARE
The ideal candidate is a certified dental assistant who enjoys working chairside with an interest and ideally some experience in the administrative side of dentistry. You have at least 1 year of experience in the field and are keen to continue to grow/expand your skillset (clinical and admin) while being part of an experienced and supportive team. Our office is open to discussing the role with someone with less experience if it’s the right match.
