Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Lead Hand to oversee a small crew in completing a variety of landscaping tasks, including spring and fall cleanups as well as ongoing property maintenance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities and a commitment to providing high-quality service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Being able to drive a truck and trailer.
- Leading small team to complete a varies on tasks Spring/ Fall clean up, installing sod, mulch, pavers and building retaining walls.
- Leading a small team to complete a mowing schedule , being able to drive a zero turn mower.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (e.g., zero-turn mowers, trimmers, blowers, skid steers, etc.)
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, address inquiries, and resolve issues effectively.
- Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of landscaping experience (leadership or supervisory experience is an asset)
- Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, tools, and equipment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (must be able to drive a truck and trailer)
- Experience operating machinery such as zero-turn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and skid steers
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic

Contract length: 4-5 months
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
