Job title: Lead Electrical Service Technician – Lead and build high speed and precision automated machines with World Class Brands
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Electrical Service Technician to join our System Build team. You’ll be responsible for wiring and assembling control panels, installing electronic components, field wiring, and supporting the electrical commissioning of high-speed automated packaging machinery. You’ll also be leading and providing mentorship to your electrical service technician peers, as well as train and onboard new employees in the electrical department. Your leadership will also improve existing processes or implement stronger processes that will benefit the department and cross-functional teams. International travel up to 25% is required to assist our field-service team when installing on our customer’s site!
Key Responsibilities:
- Wire high-speed packaging machinery and field control devices with precision.
- Fabricate and install custom cables, harnesses, and electronic components.
- Interpret complex electrical schematics and bring them to life.
- Troubleshoot systems, identify root causes, and develop innovative solutions.
- Lead electrical installations and commissioning from test to customer handoff.
- Assign tasks to electricians and ensure timely and high-quality completion of work.
Qualifications:
- Electrical Engineering Degree or Electrical/Mechatronics diploma or technician certification (or equivalent).
- 4+ years of experience in panel building, harness wiring, field wiring or automated machinery.
- 2+ years as lead electrical technician or equivalent.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read technical (electrical) schematics and diagrams.
- Professional communication in English (written and verbal).
- Flexibility to travel internationally up to 25% as needed.

Our headquarters is based in Concord, Ontario. A hub for advanced manufacturing with access to urban amenities, close to highway 400 and 407. There is free parking available on-site. Our facility is clean with great lighting, fostering innovation and collaboration!
