We are hiring for a Full-Time Lead Deli Prep Cook position with a wage range of $16.00-$19.00 at our location in Hinton, AB. (Hinton Valley Location)
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare food according to operational standards
- Provide assistance to Deli Supervisor and Department Manager as needed
- Assist Deli Supervisor with maintaining, organizing, and ordering inventory
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area
- Properly handle and store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- Prepare special orders as per customers request
- Assist in Team Member training and coaching to achieve operational standards
- Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience
- 1-2 years of deli experience
- Warm and welcoming personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Comfortable working during peak grocery deli hours (i.e. evenings, daytime, weekends, and holidays)
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
