We are a CSWU Local 1611 company that provides Traffic Control services across Vancouver Island to large and small General Contractors, BC Hydro, FortisBC, and local municipalities among others. With offices in Victoria, Nanaimo and Courtenay, we also provide services to all asphalt paving and sealcoat projects through our affiliation with OK Industries.
We are looking for experienced Lane Closure Technicians with a minimum of 1 year as an LCT.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid BCCSA Traffic Control Person certificate and BC Drivers license.
Duties and responsibilities
- Able to work flexible hours and on-call shifts
- Ability to understand and apply WCB & MOT safe work practices at all times
- Ability to listen to and communicate specific instructions clearly, firmly under pressure while remaining professional
- Physically able to fulfill job requirements and work long hours outdoors in all kinds of weather
- Responsible for the set-up, maintenance and takedown of signage at the job site
- Ensure the accurate set up of lanes that flow and provide safety to motorists and personal at the job site

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time available
Salary: $45,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
