We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong background in various landscaping techniques. This position involves working with both hand and power tools, as well as heavy equipment, to create and maintain beautiful landscapes. The Landscape Technician will be responsible for executing projects that enhance the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties.
Duties
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Perform construction-related activities including concrete forming, masonry, and carpentry.
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently for site preparation and maintenance.
- Conduct restoration work to rejuvenate existing landscapes.
- Install cabinets, flooring, tiles, and perform plumbing tasks as needed.
- Apply caulking, paint, and finish concrete surfaces to ensure high-quality results.
- Collaborate with team members to estimate construction costs and manage project timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscaping or related fields is preferred.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
- Skills in concrete finishing, tile laying, welding, and electrical work are advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
