General Responsibilities:
- Keep up-to-date with any changes to the menu, ensuring you’re always knowledgeable about new items and promotions.
- Maintain focus and stay task-oriented to ensure productivity.
- Responsible for preparing produce, chopping fruits, and keeping machines clean and well-maintained on a daily basis.
- Follow all food safety protocols to ensure safe food handling and kitchen cleanliness.
- Ensure your station is well-stocked, fully equipped, and ready for service at all times.
- Prepare menu items according to the company’s standards and specifications.
- Guarantee that all food is delivered to customers at the correct temperature and in a timely manner.
- Perform regular cleaning duties, including wiping down counters, fridges, waffle irons, crepe grills, and under the oven; dispose of garbage appropriately.
- Unload delivery trucks and properly store inventory to ensure stock is organized and accessible.
- Fill in for absent staff members when necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure uniforms are presentable, neat, and clean at all times while on shift.
- Assist with dishwashing duties during slower periods to keep the kitchen running efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring every customer receives the best experience possible.
- Be flexible with shift timing, including the ability to work late nights, up until 3 AM, as needed.
Job Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- A valid Food Handlers Certificate is considered an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Must be a collaborative team player with positive interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Consistent punctuality and reliable attendance are a must.
- High standards of honesty and integrity are required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both managers and staff, as well as customers.
- Leadership skills are an asset, especially within a kitchen environment.
