Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Kinesiologist to join our team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of licensed therapists to support patient rehabilitation, implement exercise programs, and help clients regain functional movement. This is an excellent opportunity for a kinesiologist looking to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting and contribute meaningfully to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Chiropractor, Osteopath, physiotherapists in delivering individualized treatment plans
- Supervise and guide patients through therapeutic exercises
- Monitor patient performance and report progress or concerns to the physiotherapist
- Educate patients on proper exercise techniques, posture, and movement
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with clinic protocols
- Set up and clean treatment areas before and after sessions
- Support administrative tasks related to patient care, such as scheduling or charting
- Promote a safe and encouraging environment for patient rehabilitation
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics (required)
- Eligible for registration or currently registered with a provincial kinesiology association (if applicable)
- Experience working in a clinical or rehab setting (preferred)
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercise principles and rehabilitation protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
