My Physio Aid is seeking a motivated Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) to support our licensed physiotherapists in delivering in-home treatments across Peel Region, Dufferin County, and nearby areas. Driving is mandatory, as this role requires visiting patients at their homes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physiotherapists with implementing treatment plans and exercises.
- Support patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility, and recovery routines.
- Educate patients and families on home-based care and injury prevention.
- Document and report patient progress accurately.
- Provide compassionate, professional care at each visit.
Skills & Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of physiotherapy techniques and rehabilitation exercises.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage in-home visits.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
