Job Description
As an Environmental Professional at FLINT, you will support a variety of environmental projects, providing technical expertise in environmental assessments, regulatory compliance, and remediation activities. In this dynamic position, you'll lead various environmental field programs focused on-site investigations, remediation, and reclamation, all while championing a client-centered approach that drives success and fosters growth.
What would you be doing?
- Perform site investigations, remediation, and reclamation activities including borehole logging, soil sampling, and supervising third-party contractors in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct technical analyses including hydraulic conductivity testing and groundwater flow calculations, while preparing reports and managing groundwater monitoring programs.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers, landowners, stakeholders, and regulators to enhance project outcomes and facilitate effective collaboration.
- Crosstrain to adapt to seasonal demands and support other environmental projects as needed.
- Spend up to 80% of time in the field, actively involved in hands-on environmental work across various practice areas.

Qualifications
- Technical diploma or university degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field; eligible for or holds a professional designation (e.g., Agrologist, Biologist, Engineer, Geoscientist).
- 1-3 years of experience in environmental consulting with hands-on expertise in fieldwork.
- Proficient in safely operating light-duty trucks and holding a valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Deep understanding and application of provincial environmental regulations, policies and guidelines pertinent to site investigations.
- Skilled in planning and managing multiple projects under tight deadlines, ensuring continued stakeholder collaboration with a proactive approach to challenges and a commitment to health and safety standards. Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
