Job Description

Artex Group of Companies, an innovative and growing player in the dairy farm supply industry, is seeking a Junior Controller.

Major Purpose:

Reports to the CFO. Responsible for administrating all accounting, bookkeeping and business reporting for the Artex Group of companies. Manages financial processes including payroll, A/R, A/P, inventories, banking and all financial transactions. Facilitates company budgeting processes. Manages HR record keeping including payroll and employee benefits plan. Leads projects that support operational excellence in financial accounting and reporting including choosing, configuring and deploying systems.

Major Duties:

· Accounting and bookkeeping for all Artex Group of companies

· Oversee and give direction to bookkeeping team

· Facilitates the budgeting and financial planning processes with the CFO

· Oversee and manage A/R, A/P and Inventory items

· Oversee and manage Payroll, employee benefits plan and other HR reports and record keeping

· Manage travel and entertainment expense processes

· Assist CFO with maintaining relationships with banks or financial institutions

· Lead responsibilities related to Irrevocable Letters of Credit (LC) and respective bank communication

· Prepare and provide weekly, monthly and yearly financial reporting

· Assist CFO with cash management

· Collaborate with Customer support on warranty claims and process relevant debit/credits

Requirements:

· Strong financial acumen and ability to prepare financial reports in a clear and understandable way

· Strong Microsoft Excel skills

· Accounting experience with reporting responsibilities to company leadership - 3-5 years

· Degree in Accounting/Finance disciplines or relevant work experience
