Role and Responsibilities
Handling a book of business of small business accounts up to $20K in premium.
Responsible for up-selling and cross-selling initiatives on book of business.
Maintain up-to-date awareness of renewals and account receivables on a monthly basis.
Collaborate with clients to identify and implement insurance solutions tailored to their evolving needs.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with insurance underwriters.
Effectively plan and execute daily tasks in accordance with specified deadlines.
Ensure consistent adherence to Commercial Lines Standard Operating Procedures.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial insurance, specifically in property/casualty and commercial automobile.
RIBO Licensed (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario) required.
Designations such as CAIB, CIP, or CRM are considered an asset.
SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks efficiently.
Strong numerical, analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and innovatively.
Working knowledge of Vertafore SIGXP and general proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
