About the position:
You’ll be working alongside seasoned project managers and field teams on our commercial construction and renovations project. This position will be a blend of time at the Saskatoon office as well as time at the job sites which are typically located in Northern Saskatchewan. Travelling to site would mean working extended hours and you would fly in/fly out staying at a camp where meals and accommodations are supplied.
Duties
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction and renovation projects from start to finish
- Support the Project Manager with budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and progress tracking
- Work closely with subcontractors, site supervisors, and clients to ensure timelines and standards are met
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality
- Help prepare project documentation including RFIs, change orders, and reports
- Assist with QA/QC requirements
Qualifications
- Previous commercial construction experience is required.
- Some experience or education in construction, project coordination, engineering, or a related field
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow within the company
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites
