Journeyperson Service Plumber

JOB DETAILS:
We are currently accepting resumes for 2 Service Plumbing journeypersons for work in the Edmonton area.
Wage
Journeyperson - $44.35/HR (Total Package $58.79), with wage increases to come over the next 3 years.

REPONSIBILITIES:

• Read & interpret blueprints, evaluate plans diagrams, specifications, schematics, and manufactures manuals.
• Strong knowledge of the NPC current Edition.
• Hydronic Heating experience an asset.
• Familiar with the sequence of operation with gas fired equipment.
• Boiler experience an asset.
• A drug and alcohol test may be required pending client requests for pre-access on some projects.
• Execute work safely and promote safe work behaviours with peers.
• Travelling to/from various job site locations.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

• 4+ years of experience installing and servicing plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with applicable NPC.
• Ability to read & understand blueprints
• Excellent organization and time management
• Ability to complete documentation with detail & accuracy
• Knowledge of multi meters, combustion analyzer and manometers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift heavy loads (50lbs)
• CSTS 2020, Fall Protection, AWP or EWP.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 3-5 year drivers abstract.

SCHEDULE:

• Applicant must be flexible to a multitude of shift types and hours worked
• Overtime as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $58.79 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
