Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as the ability to work with various power tools and HVAC systems. The Journeyperson Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Assemble and install valves, fittings, pipes, and fixtures using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure efficient project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and building codes during plumbing operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics related to plumbing systems.
- Ability to plumb, maintain, build, assemble, and troubleshoot various plumbing components effectively.
- Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $42.09-$43.18 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
