Wheaton Buick GMC Ltd in Kamloops is seeking a Red Seal Diesel Technician to join our team. Preference will be given to GM ASEP. This is an excellent opportunity to relocate to the beautiful Thompson-Okanagan area with fishing, skiing, hiking, mountain biking just outside your door.
Duties
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on GM vehicles.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and identify any potential issues.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to accurately assess vehicle conditions.
- Ensure all repairs meet or exceed manufacturer standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and industry trends.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
Qualifications
- Certification as an Automotive Technician.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Commitment to ongoing training and professional development.
