Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and order in our facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in various cleaning environments, including commercial, residential, and industrial settings. As a Janitor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our spaces are safe, hygienic, and welcoming for all employees and visitors.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Maintain floors through buffing and polishing to ensure a clean and professional appearance.
- Clean restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to uphold hygiene standards.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies.
- Conduct minor maintenance tasks as needed to support overall facility upkeep.
- Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or issues to management.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for efficient use.
- Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Requirements
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred.
- Experience with commercial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with residential painting or industrial cleaning is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to effectively report maintenance issues.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties throughout the shift.
