Job Title: Janitor – Seniors Independent Living Community

Job Overview
Three Robins Riverside is an 87-unit independent living rental community in the Riverside neighborhood, designed for active seniors. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to help ensure our shared spaces remain clean, safe, and welcoming for residents, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a friendly, respectful attitude—especially important in a senior living environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming throughout common areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, lobbies, hallways, and other shared spaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, baseboards, doors, and surfaces.
- Empty and dispose of trash and recycling in accordance with facility procedures.
- Monitor cleaning supply inventory and report low stock to ensure supplies are replenished.
- Support minor maintenance tasks as needed (e.g., changing light bulbs, reporting maintenance issues).
- Adhere to health and safety protocols to maintain a secure environment for residents.
Requirements
- Experience in janitorial work or commercial cleaning preferred.
- Comfortable working in a seniors housing environment with professionalism and courtesy.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- A clear criminal record check is required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
