Looking for an experienced Journeyman Ironworker and/or Apprentice Ironworker to join our Calgary team.
Required skills:
- Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms
- Perform job-site calculations
- Signal crane operators to position units according to blueprints
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
- Inspect or test structures and equipment for deterioration, defects or failure to comply with specifications or regulations
- Unload and position steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed
Must have:
- Journeyman/Woman Ironworker Ticket or apprenticeship
- valid Fall Protection ticket
- valid Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket
- experience in commercial beam and joist type work considered an asset
- own harness, lanyard, tools and tool belt
- own reliable transportation (job sites are not accessible by public transit)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $40.00 per hour
