Overview
We are seeking a skilled Insulator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing insulation in residential settings, ensuring energy efficiency and comfort in residential and commercial buildings. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and proficiency in using hand tools.
Responsibilities
- Install insulation materials in walls, ceilings, and floors according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine insulation requirements for different projects.
- Utilize hand tools effectively to cut and shape insulation materials.
- Ensure proper sealing of insulation using caulking techniques to prevent air leaks.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
- Perform quality checks on installed insulation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in insulation installation or related construction fields.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools relevant to the insulation trade.
- Familiarity with caulking methods and materials is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety on the job site.
