Position Summary:
CACC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Food Service Worker Instructor. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive and engaging instruction in a variety of courses. The position includes teaching expertise in the following courses:
- Institutional Food Service/Role of the Food Service Worker
- Communication Skills for the Food Service Worker
- Sanitation and Safety
- Quantity Food Preparation
- Nutrition and Health
- Medical Emergencies
Shift Time:
- Evening hours (Mon- Thu 5:00pm - 10:00 pm)
Requirements:
- DEP/Post Secondary Diploma in Professional Cooking and or Food & Beverage
- Minimum of 3000 hours of work experience in the field
- Solid knowledge of and general experience in the trade
- Experience with adult teaching is preferred.
- Excellent lesson planning, computer, communication, presentation, and organizational skills are required.
- Passion for Education and creating positive learning experiences for others.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
