CJ College is actively seeking a Community Service Worker & Child and Youth Care Program Instructor to join our team!
The CSW & CYC Instructor will support the vision, mission, and values of CJ College while contributing to a positive and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, and dedication while embracing diversity and fostering inclusion.
Responsibilities:
- Assist students through lectures
- Deliver lesson plans and assignments using a variety of teaching techniques
- Administer and grade quizzes, exams, and assignments
- Perform administrative tasks including student record keeping, attendances, marking, etc
- Adhere to principles, requirements and delivery of the program as per CJ College standards and the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Child Care, Mental Health or Social Work
- Must be capable of writing lesson plans, quizzes and tests as needed
- A minimum of two (2) years of teaching in the field or four (4) years experience working in the field
- Required criteria as outlines in the Regulations to Career Colleges Act 2005
- Excellent written and communication skills
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Evening shift - 5:00-9:00 PM
- Monday to Friday
