As a part of our amazing sales team, you will be immersed in the customer service side of our onsite warehouse. Leverage your expertise advising customers & provide an exceptional customer experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Greet customers and help meet their needs
- Sell merchandise or offer alternatives if stock is unavailable
- Assist customers with returns and exchanges
- Process payments (cash, cheques, direct debit, charge); count and balance tills at the end of the day
- Ensure all sales transactions are done with high ethical standards and conform to company policy
- Maintain current knowledge of products
- Operate a computerized inventory system
- Estimate or quote prices
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Front order desk
- Weekdays; daytime
- Occasional overtime
- Extensive computer and phone use, some sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Fast paced environment
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-3 years experience with industrial supplies
- Show initiative and have a great attitude
- Accurate with attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills; maintain professional presentation
- Excellent time management, problem solving, multitasking and communication skills
- Teamwork and flexibility
- Able to work under pressure, with tight timelines
