Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced IELTS Tutor/instructors to help our international students prepare fo the IELTS exam. We will have weekly or monthly sessions of IELTS classes depending on students registration.
As an Instructor, you will utilize your expertise to educate students, facilitate classroom activities, and provide personalized tutoring to enhance their academic performance.
Responsibilities:
- Planning course material and activities
- Assessing the students’ progress (e.g. homework, exam grades, etc.)
- Building trusting relationships with students and other staff
- Identify students with special requirements and create individualized plans
- Provide feedback based on workload and classroom behavior
- Inform parents about their children’s performance
- Collaborate with teaching staff and administrators to foster a good student experience
Qualifications:
- Comfortable working with students of different levels
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
- Experience using GIS for educational purposes is a plus.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as they can enhance communication with diverse student populations.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $18.50-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
