Pacific Tutorials is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable IB Math & Physics Tutor to join our team on a contract basis. We specialize in helping high school students grasp complex concepts and improve their problem-solving skills. Duties
- Provide one-on-one online tutoring sessions tailored to IB curriculum requirements.
- Develop customized lesson plans and practice materials using our company templates.
- Assist students in understanding IB-specific assessment criteria, exam techniques, and coursework requirements.
- Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills through interactive teaching methods.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Utilize digital tools to create an engaging virtual learning experience.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of IB Mathematics (Applications & Interpretations / Analysis & Approaches) and IB Physics.
- Prior experience tutoring IB students, particularly in an educational setting, is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Ability to create personalized lesson plans that cater to individual student needs.
- Must have a tablet/iPad/laptop with a stylus OR the ability to write on-screen.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed academically.

Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday: 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm
- Saturday: 11:00 am to 3:00 pm
