Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Hydraulic Repair Technician to perform maintenance, repair, and fabrication of hydraulic cylinders. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for precision work in an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and test hydraulic cylinders
- Perform machining tasks including milling, turning, and grinding to fabricate or repair parts to precise specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and hydraulic system blueprints.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on hydraulic systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic system issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and ensure timely project completion.
- Document repair activities, including parts used and labor performed.
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or apprenticeship in machining or hydraulic systems preferred.
- Experience with CNC machining
- Familiarity with hydraulic system testing and diagnostic equipment.
- 5 years of experience as a machinist working with hydraulic components.
- Proficiency in operating lathes, mills, grinders, and the use of precision machining tools.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, fluid dynamics, and component functionality.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a machining and repair environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
