Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, people-focused Human Resources Coordinator to support and enhance our HR operations. This individual will play a key role in talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, scheduling, and payroll. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, reference checks, and offers
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of employees
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
- Administer scheduling across multiple sites and departments
- Process payroll and ensure accuracy of timesheets, hours, and deductions
- Handle all vacation and leave requests in accordance with company policies and staffing needs
- Assist in the development and enforcement of HR policies and procedures
- Provide support with performance management and employee reviews
- Respond to employee inquiries and support a positive, inclusive workplace culture
- Coordinate training sessions and staff development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with Quebec labor laws and internal standards
- Collaborate with department heads to anticipate staffing needs
- Support benefits administration and employee file audits
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR role (preferably in property management or a service-oriented industry)
- Strong knowledge of Quebec labor laws and HR best practices
- Experience with payroll systems and staff scheduling
- Excellent communication skills in both English and French (spoken and written)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
