Job Description:
- Completes employee sign-on documentation and orientation.
- Reconciles all payroll liability accounts.
- Completes Record of Employments and EI audits for the Corporation.
- Researches historical information in relation to payroll/benefits/pension questions.
- Assists with the processing of the Corporate STD/LTD plans.
- Provides customer service relating to Payroll/Benefits/Pension enquiries.
- Processes corporate payroll and personnel changes such as increments, reclassifications, terminations, promotions, maternity and parental leaves.
- Produces reports and statistical summaries as required.
- Performs such other related duties as assigned.
- Certificate in office administration and two years administrative experience, or
- Secondary School Graduation and five years of related administration experience
- Ability to multi-task
- Must be at an intermediate skill level in keyboarding, word processing and spreadsheet software
- Ability to communicate effective and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Excellent project/time management, analytical/critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well independently and within a team environment
- Ability to identify, understand and meet/exceed the requirements of internal/external customers
- Experience in payroll and benefit processes, procedures, and applicable legislation
- Experience working with SAP and/or other HRIS environment
- Must sign and abide by Employee Confidentiality Statement
- Must undergo a successful Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC)
