We are looking for a dynamic HR Coordinator to join our team in Niagara Falls, Ontario, supporting the HR function for our Niagara based locations and other Ontario locations as needed. This role reports to the Human Resources Manager. Position Functions
- Maintain accurate employee records and support HRIS administration.
- Track key HR metrics including turnover, time-to-fill, absenteeism, and engagement trends.
- Assist with employee performance and attendance tracking and the preparation of discipline letters as required.
- Support and administer disciplinary processes, ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance with employment standards.
- Coordinate and manage employee training initiatives, ensuring completion and alignment with regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Maintain and regularly update company handbooks and policies, reflecting the latest legislative and organizational changes.
- Responsible for leading the recruitment process for hourly employees and assisting with salaried recruitment.
- Responsible for leading the onboarding process for new employees including testing, orientations and post hire / probationary period evaluations.
- Communications and employee support for the Health Benefits and RRSP plans.
- Assist with the management of WSIB, STD and LTD claims and Modified Work plans.
- Tracking of labour for facilities including facilitating layoffs, recalls, bumping and job postings
- Conduct fact finding and investigations for employee complaints
- Assist with the performance review and merit review process
- Organize and implement engagement and wellness initiatives to enhance workplace culture and morale.

- 1-3 years of experience in HR support or coordination roles preferred.

- Experience with HRIS systems (Dayforce preferred) is an asset.

- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Experience supporting multi-site or unionized environments considered a plus.
