Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair of equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, along with the ability to lead and supervise maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems within the facility.
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Fabricate and weld components as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including logic controllers.
- Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues accurately.
- Conduct preventive maintenance checks to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
- Proficiency in supervising teams and demonstrating leadership skills.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, including logic controllers.
- Ability to read and understand schematics effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Experience in fabrication and welding is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to tasks.
